Areas of Practice

A shareholder since 1980, John joined the firm in 1975 while still in law school. John’s specialty is forming estate plans for individuals. He has extensive experience drafting wills and trusts (both revocable and irrevocable), handling tax issues, and administering estates and trusts.

Personal

A man with many interests (his wife might say “obsessions”), John collects foreign bank notes, magazine covers, illustrated books and odd looks from the neighbors. He has so many books stored upstairs that if the second story of their home fell down upon him, the books on the first floor would serve as a buffer. And John would go on reading, oblivious to the neighbors banging on the door. He met his wife, Lori, when he was 17 and she was 15 and they have been happily married (at least he has) since 1969. He has two handsome sons (John says they resemble him, but that’s up for debate), two beautiful daughters-in-law (no argument there), two granddaughters (Loma and Violet), and one grandson (Paxton) who receive most of John’s spare time and spoiling.
